This object has a lot of functions as the image above shows. Oscar and Barnaby both wear a Watch like this and Argaï used it sometimes as well.
From left to right, top to bottom: 1: It can be used as a Camera to make photos, 2: as a Computer to look up things or show data (like the Book), 3: as a Telephone to speak with or see other people, 4: as a Gun to shoot lasers, 5: as a Watch to see the time, 6: as a Lasertool to burn through objects and 7: even as a Digital Rope, which has been used in Episode 14. Besides that you can also use it as a regular Flashlight.
The Lasertool is used in Episode 9 to burn a square in the stone floor and in Episode 14 to remove the bars from jail-windows. Barnaby loses his Watch when it gets stolen by the Blind InnKeeper in Episode 22.
